It is indeed a matter of concern if our precious children in the society are not cared for or protected. Unfortunately, we see many incidents happening worldwide where children either end up missing or are mistreated. We must understand that they are our country’s future and must be looked after well. A USA company called Sprint has decided to launch a cell phone recycling programme which helps the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. Quite noteworthy is the fact that a substantial sum of money has already been brought in for the noble cause.
The UK does not have any such programme running currently, but nothing should stop anyone from doing their part. Recycling of mobile phones is open to all for helping children. This money can then be given to charities which help children. If you are not keen for a charity donation, could even offer the amount directly to help the children in need.
Cell phone recycling helps in earning cash and if your phone is one of the popular models, you could certainly earn much more from recycling it. However, it does not matter how much earnings you will make, since your end purpose is to help children and any amount towards this cause is always welcome. No wonder, this programme from the USA is gaining lot of interest all over the world. This is one of the greater advantages of mobile phone recycling apart from preserving our environment and planet. Hopefully someone starts a similar type of programme here in the UK soon.
